Artist Statement:
Linda Marwan integrates sculpture, painting, and 3D-sculpting to craft compact, immersive ensembles, often featuring animals, plants, hybrid beings, and her own body in interdependent relationships.
Marwan explores the tropes of gaming, fantasy, and horror, breaking them down and recombining their elements to investigate how atmosphere is shaped through visual qualities.
She reclaims the body as a space of knowledge, challenging its objectification and exploring its ties to both physical and virtual worlds.
